This holiday season I can't help but walk around and just be inspired by the sights, sounds, and even the smells all around. I notice that at different times of the year my scrapbooking changes. I tend to reflect the feelings and textures that surround me at that time and place. Now I know I am gravitating toward everything RICH.... velvets, plaids, texture, ribbons. In the spring, it's all about pastels.... the summer time is BOLD colors for me and the fall is .... Halloween and pumpkins of course!
In case you haven't figured out yet, this post was just a way to shamelessly plug the photos I just took of my home tonight as I sat with my daughters while they wrote their letters to Santa (they are 5 and 3) and you can read about them at my other blog any time: http://thecurriercourier.blogspot.com
We have so much fun and my work just blends seamlessly with their every day life. I'm very lucky to be able to do what I do and have them be a part of it.
This sample I'm showing here an advent calendar I put together last year and it survived its time in the attic to be displayed another year!
