Christmas is Coming!

I don't feel that I'm jumping the gun in this since the music has been on the radio (24/7 on one station in town) and the every catalog and commercial is about it!

I'd like to say I'm taking advantage of this time of year by selling a ton on Ebay but right now I'm focused on my custom orders so if there's something you want but are not seeing listed on Ebay let me know. I hope to have more Christmas items listed on Ebay after Thanksgiving. Remember school gifts! Teachers, bus drivers, secret santas! Also, the mail carrier deserves something nice too! I know MY mail carrier will be getting something nice since she's always picking up my packages for me.

This is one great item available RIGHT NOW on my Ebay for Christmas. This is an Advent Calendar inside an altered lunch box. You can add photos to each day (wallet sized) and display them on the easel that is included.

City Chic & Beach Cool

It was a family affair with these name albums. I had originally done some work for a client through my Etsy shop and she liked her name albums so much that she ordered another one. Meanwhile, her daughter snooped around and found the original albums I had made (they were SUPPOSED to be a surprise!) and SHE liked them so much that she also contacted me to do some work for her.

Each had a very unique style request. One wanted "TY&DADDY" and said that the dad was a very cool, modern guy who had a certain look to his clothing and accessories (She even emailed me a photo of a t-shirt that is just his style) so I knew I couldn't use ANY flowers! (that's hard for me!). I had to get creative. I hope she likes what I did here:


Meanwhile.... my original client wanted another album for a friend's son and their house is beach themed with beige and blues throughout so I had to switch gears (even though I did work on these at the same time so my head was spinning a little). Luckily, everything made it onto the correct albums:

The Great Birthday Get-away

I'm out of here! I'm leaving tomorrow for 3 days in Atlantic City. I've never been there so I'm looking forward to some great gambling (hopefully winning)

Cool New Item! Available for Holiday Gifts

How cool are these? I plan on giving these to my daughters' teachers for holiday gifts. If anyone would like one, get in touch with me. These items are HEAVY glass blocks (similar to ones used to make shower walls) so shipping will be expensive but if you are local, I'd be happy to make one for you. They will be available after Thanksgiving.

Holiday Happenings

So much info!

First: Please come see me from 10-2 this Saturday, November 8th at the Grove Street Methodist Church on 299 in New Paltz. I will have a table with samples (such as the cutesy frame you see here) as well as items for sale. I will be taking custom orders for last minute holiday gifts.

Second: My birthday! I will be out of town starting Sunday the 9th and returning Tuesday the 11th as Andy and I travel down to Atlantic City to get my gamble on. I've never been to AC so I'm pretty excited to go.

Third: Scrap at My House: Saturday, Nov 15th from noon-until we're tired of scrapping. I will have a make and take frame ($8) or you can just bring your own projects and scrap for free while we sit around eating junk food and just chatting... a perfect girls day in.

Fourth: Sit N Scrap at Morning Glory Playcare: Thurs Nov 20th noon-2. $25 includes light snacks, scrap supplies, and CHILDCARE!!! Bring your kids to play in this great space while you sit and relax. Reservations are required. Call Alyssha to reserve your space: 236-7178

The deadline is election day (I know in the earlier post I said Monday but Election Day Tuesday just seemed cooler to me). I have not been very productive lately since I've been cramming hours and hours of Halloween in with the family. Now that it is finally over, I'm back to work. I'm still waiting for my delivery of name albums so once that is in, I will probably not be listing much on Ebay.
