One of My Favorite Forums:

I have been so lucky to be a designer for Happy Scrappin' Scrapbooking for several months now and I find that I love spending time chatting in their forum (and of course, shopping for lots of goodies!). Every month they do a giveaway for the best layout and best card uploaded. The forum is small .... it feels like a family in there. With other message boards, you can post a question or statement and a few seconds later, it's bumped down a long list of messages, never to be seen again. So I'm always happy to share news and seek advice at the HSS forum. I'd encourage anyone who loves scrapbooking and chatting about it to join the forum there.

Remember When I Used to Scrapbook... For Myself?

I hardly remember it either!! Luckily my design team work has kicked back in this month and it forces me to sit down with my own photos and I am always so relaxed and find myself totally regenerated.

Though, I had to confess, the Olympics have been distracting me a lot in the last week!

Big Week Going on in Here!

This is a pretty exciting week for Jeune Girl Studio. First, there is the February 20th deadline for local girls 7 & under to enter my first ever casting call in coordination with Lyla's Lovelies.

Secondly, I'd like to start a FAN PAGE BLITZ! From NOW until February 28th I will be opening the floodgates and encouraging friends to recommend me to THEIR friends on Facebook.

Here is how it works:

2. In the top left, just under my logo you'll see a link to SUGGEST TO FRIENDS and you can click on your own friends and send a suggestion. (you may also want to send a separate note because step #3 is REALLY IMPORTANT if you want to win)

3. When your friend becomes a fan he/she should leave a comment somewhere on my wall or on the photo of the prize with your name as having recommended them to join.

These are great props for my photo shoots... but my girls love them too. Now they want me to make them for their stuffed animals. I don't foresee that happening.

Coming Up for Some Air

Almost every morning when both of my girls are in school I have time to do some crafting (that is if I'm not doing something EXTRA exciting like grocery shopping) and today was no exception. I am at the tail end of some name albums that needed to be shipped out and I have several projects that need to be started but I took a breather and actually scrapped some of my own photos that are really starting to pile up. Sometimes it recharges my creative batteries to work on my own projects.

Meet & Greet this Saturday

Come one, come all to the Rosendale Elementary school Valentine's Day craft fair. It is Saturday, Feb 6 from 12-4. I will be showing off many of my handmade crafts and also will have supplies available so you can make your own fabulous projects. I hope to see many of my local fans!
