These albums were an absolute joy to make for my pal Cindy for one reason. All she said was "there's a boy named Carter and a girl named Elizabeth.... do what you want".... say no more!!! I had a field day with these albums. They were delivered to her today and she couldn't have been happier.
I have had too many moments where a client has approach me with "Can you make 'such and such' " and I have a "duh" moment (Oprah has her 'a-ha' moments... I have 'duh' moments... that's why she's a billionaire). I stop and say "why didn't I do that years ago????". Case in point: Prom and Class of albums. This is a custom Prom album for a new (and very smart!) client. Totally custom Class of 2010 and Prom2010 albums are available for order.
Turnaround time can take as much as 3 or 4 weeks on these so please get your orders in NOW in time for prom season.
I hope you visit this fab new site and sign up for their facebook page. They are doing giveaways and have tons of perks for their fans both on their blog and on FB. This week they are giving away a few great kits!
I'm trying to be a good girl and NOT publish the photos for my newest layouts for the Happy Scrappin Scrapbooking Design Team so I'll do the next best thing.... give you small peeks at some of the layouts. If you want a chance to win a gift card every month (up to $25!!!!), sign up for the Happy Scrappin Scrapbooking Message Boards and upload your own layouts and YOU could win!! Go for it!
You'll see a familiar face giving away a fabulous album!!!Good luck! But if you don't win, you can always come to me to place your custom order.... names can be ordered up to 9 letters long and are very customizable.
Up for grabs is your choice of either of these cute albums:
Sometimes you just want an album that is FUN.... and I sure did have fun designing this fun album for a client to give as a gift to her cousin. I love this album shape and it will hold tons of cute photos.
Now that the blog contest is over, what's next for Jeune Girl Studio? Well, no doubt my photography is eating into my craft time but I still consider myself to be a scrapbooker first so I hope to keep up my custom orders. I thought I would have slowed down after the holidays but I am currently working on 7 name albums so I hope to have photos of them soon. Instead of crafting, I'm spending my days doing this lately:
Jen M.... aka.... my buddy Jen from New Jersey! Congrats to Jen and thanks to all who entered.
More contests to be announced soon.
If you own a small business and have great items that you'd like to donate for a contest (and free publicity on my blog and Facebook) feel free to contact me.
Happy New Year! I am happy to announce the merging of all of my creative arenas under one title:
Jeune Girl Studio.
"Studio" just encompasses all aspects of my business.... from scrapbooking to digital design and photography. In the coming weeks I will be working on a new website combining everything onto one page for easier navigation.
I have 2 blogs for both aspects of my business. This blog is for my crafts and some of my digital designs. I also have a photography blog where I will post highlights from my local photo shoots as well as photographs from my travels (many of which are available to order so contact me for details) Click HERE to see my photos.
Please remember to view my previous post for info about my blog contest which runs through January 5th!
