The Deluxe Kit is Sold Out!!

I can't believe how fast they sold!! Those who ordered them will NOT be disappointed. Anyone else who wants a piece of this great Pink Paislee line can still get in on my recession buster kit ($15). I only have 4 of these left!

Here is another layout featuring the papers that come in this kit. I also have some of the crocheted flowers as seen in this layout available for purchase, contact me if you wish to add these on with your kits (no additional shipping costs)

Lovin' This Lunchbox!

Can you just see why? The hard part now is giving it to my sister in law! She ordered a lunch box a while ago for her daughter's teacher. I had to order more tins (a nice bulk order so now I have PLENTY of lunch boxes... order now!) and they arrived just in time for me to make this WITH a mini album inside in time to hand deliver them this weekend when I head down to see them.

My New Skill

Recently, I took the time and trouble to take a class in PSE (Photoshop Elements) to improve my photo editing. One thing they did NOT teach me but a good ol' google search did was combining more than one image into a single photo. Here is my first try at this and the pictures include much of the work I've been up to this week as I (not so patiently) await the arrival of my lunch boxes that I need to get working on.

The larger images on the left are closeups within the layouts that are on the right. I totally scraplifted the rolled papers (lower left image) from a great layout I saw on the Scrapbook Nook.

Grandkids!

Just in time for Mother's Day! Grandmas are mothers too so what better gift to give than a GRANDKIDS album. This one is for my sister-in-law's mother. Hope she enjoys. I used mostly Daisy D's paper and now that they're out of business, this paper is very hard to come by. I love the bold colors and interesting combinations that Daisy D was known for.

Too Nice to Scrap!

Seriously, winter is FINALLY over in the northeast and I've been out and about with the family enjoying this beautiful weather. That doesn't mean I've stopped scrapping entirely!! I have a few orders I'm working on plus I just got 180 more photos of my girls from Snapfish (including our recent trip to Washington) so I've got plenty of projects to keep me busy.

Here are a few recent pages I've made that I think turned out really cute:

This first page was made using pieces of the kit I have available plus other papers from the same line.

Here's one that I had fun putting together. I actually had to use my computer to print out the little titles and that's huge for me. I usually prefer pages that are just quick and easy. Sitting on the computer, choosing the right font, printing it and then cutting it seems tedious but it wasn't too bad this time:

I know I mentioned that I have 180 photos from Snapfish waiting. The worse part is that I have another 180 (at least) from last fall and winter that STILL need to be scrapped so you will probably be seeing a bunch of winter and Christmas pages coming from me:

Holden

Ahhh... wall letters. They are so much fun to make! This client also provided me with a link to the bedding she is using in her son's room which helps immensely in trying to find the perfect accents. I love the way these letters turned out and I hope she agrees :)

Scrapbooking Tip #14: Go For It!!

Go all out! I need to take my own advice sometimes. I love shopping for scrapbooking supplies but many times I find that I hoard them because I'm afraid to use them. I am always thinking "well, I might want to use this on another project." Too often, I come across some great supplies months or even years after I bought them only to find I don't really like them that much! So use your supplies NOW because something even better is coming along, trust me!

Party Time!

I was reluctant to post again since I didn't want my scrap page from the last post to get bumped down... I don't know why, I just really like it. But life goes on. Yesterday I was privileged to spend my afternoon with a sweet group of youngsters for a painting party. In New Paltz, there are limited AFFORDABLE resources for parents who want to have fun parties for their children so I'm happy to travel and provide the supplies so parents can relax knowing that they can provide fun and not break the budget. If you're local, contact me about party details. I can do painting, scrapbooking, and other crafts. If you're not sure, just ask!
