10 More Pages... Enjoy!

Here's another 10 from the 30 page set. This client was very good about giving me a set of themes she wanted me to create. This first Christmas page for her daughter is my absolute favorite of the entire set and I will be copying it for my own pages I'm sure!

My Big Huge Order

When I put the word out that I was offering 10 pages for $50 I never expected such a great reaction. I've already done several 10 page orders but this one totally made my day (ok, it made my last few weeks since I've been working on and off on them for a while now.) I have completed 27 pages (3 baptism ones) and here is a sampling of 10 that are ready to go! I will post another set of 10 and then the final set so I don't overwhelm my fans with SO MANY PAGES!!!

If anyone else is interested in ordering a set of 10 pages, let me know by the end of February because that's when the deal ends!

Anna

Name albums make great birthday and shower gifts. This special album is for a special young lady who loves pinks and pastels (hope I came through). The person who cuts the albums for me is actually having trouble with her cutter so I'm hoping it is fixed soon so name albums will continue to be available. Contact me for availability.

Scrapbooking Tip #13: More Thinking Outside the Box

There are so many uses for scrapbooking paper and embellishments. A while ago, I had a great photo shoot with Surprise Photography and received gorgeous prints of my girls. One of them was a great 8x8 storyboard saying "Sisters". I had my eye out for a great 8x8 frame to put it in for a long time and finally decided that unless I wanted to spend a ton of money, I'd have to think outside the box.

I found this great frame at Michaels on sale for $5!!!!!!! I can't pass up that kind of deal. The frame is 10x10 so I came up with the solution to mat the storyboard using some awesome paper that brought out the color in Brynne's shirt and I think the results are great!

Name Albums for Very Special Siblings

These name albums are for a very special brother and sister. My sister-in-law requested these for her neighbor's children and I hope I did them justice.

I didn't hesitate to use my own private stash of Yankee embellishments for Jake... a huge Yankee fan.

Scrapbooking Tip #12: Layouts with Multiple Photos

I am addicted to making layouts with a single photo. I just love taking a 5x7 and building a page around it but it becomes a problem when I get an order from Snapfish with 150 photos. So sometimes I actually have to do layouts with multiple photos.

The way I do multiple photo pages is to treat the multiple photos as one big photo. By placing them close together, they don't get lost and look like they're floating around the page. If the photos are spaced apart, then it is important to ground each photo to make them look meatier. I use multiple mats beneath a photo.

Lastly, don't be afraid to trim a photo. This is easy if the background is busy or distracting. I trimmed photos in most of the layouts featured in this update (except the GIRLY one in which case I layered them so they didn't take up too much room)

Remember SUNDAY!!! Contest winner will be announced. If you haven't left a comment yet, please go down to the Contest announcement post and leave a comment!

For Debbie:

As a friend who lives close by, Debbie suffered the "you're my pal so you have to wait until I finish all my mail orders" excuse. So I have finally finished her 10 pages.... now to plan a get-together so I can deliver them. I hope she likes them. I know she has an awesome scrap closet in her new finished basement that rivals mine so I made sure to leave a little space on a few of them in case she wanted to add to them.
